2005-2011 Tacoma Trd Pro Style Grille

Letters & strip arrived week later.
Used my own 3m adhesive on strip based on other reviews advice. Good call

The weather striping is terrible.it has adhesive strip and I stuck it on and the next day it fell off and I had to super glue it on which works but doesn’t look great because I can see super glue spots but for a truck that I use like a truck I don’t mind. But I noticed some grills are nice and have the piece already attached

Pretty happy with this grill. I don't think you can beat it. Have some super glue ready for that weather strip though

The grille has a nice matte black finish and it looks real nice, however there were a couple of sections on the border where excess plastic sticks out. Also, the adhesive strip that the weather strip comes with is super cheap and instantly came undone when exposed to the Texas heat. I ended up taking it off and using something else as an alternative. The weatherstrip itself does not account for the two slopes on the 2nd gen style grille, making it difficult to stick and an eye sore if you’re trying to get it to sit flush on the grille. Instead it’s just a straight strip for a curvy grille.

Love the grille it looks awesome on the truck and it wired up very easily. The grille however did not come with bolts or anything to bolt it into place. Also the gasket/weather stripping that came with it had a very poor adhesive and did not stick nearly well enough leaving a 1/2 inch gap between the grille and hood unfortunately. I’m working through some ideas to get the gasket to work or something else. All in all still a very solid product and looks great but parts are its downfall and could be better quality.
